Hello, my name is Alfred Zhuang and I'm a full-time software engineer at Capital One. I graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Capital One - Associate Software Engineer (August 2023 - Present)
  • Building out new feature for teams to create architecture graph diagrams for their applications to ensure proper recovery time objective utilizing Angular and Cytoscape
  • Worked on an infrastructure team to help reduce/debug pipeline failures and review pull requests for company-wide used Jenkins pipeline library utilizing Python, Groovy, OPA Rego policies
  • Delivered a proof of concept to audit auto-failover configuration deployments using React, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
  • Studied and obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certificate
Capital One - Software Engineer Intern (June 2022 - August 2022)
  • Built the UI for a tool to manage API/Dataset configurations using React, TypeScript, Jest, and Redux
  • Innersourced a new feature for configuration approval notifications in another team's existing product
  • Participated in Capital One Coders (a program that focuses on building the future technologists in local communities), where I mentored students that were learning HTML and CSS
